How to pay for a Lattitude Overseas Placement

How overseas volunteer program fees work:

The cost for each Lattitude program differs per country due to variables such as flights and insurance. It costs more to get to the UK than a nearby destination like Fiji! Our website breaks down the estimated overall cost for each country so be sure to read through the destination page of the countries you are interested in.

Application Fee:

When submitting an online application, volunteers are required to pay a $150 application fee. This fee is paid at the time of application. It's impossible to forget to pay because you can't submit your application without it. This fee pays for the time our staff spend processing your application, arranging an interview, and communicating with our country managers to find you the best fit possible.

Interview - Offer - Payment - Placement

After the interview and assessment process is complete, volunteers will then receive their official offer letter. At this time, you'll need to pay an $800 deposit to secure your placement with Lattitude. This means you're serious about going and you're making a commitment to follow through with your volunteer placement.

After this, 50% of the remaining Lattitude fee is due 120 days prior to departure and the second 50% is due 60 days prior to departure. Costs such as flight, insurance etc are arranged at varying times throughout the process.

$150 application fee -> Interview/Offer -> $800 Deposit to secure placement -> 120 before departure 50% remaining fee -> 60 days before departure remaining 50% of fees owed.
