Why apply now?

Submitting your application is only the first step of the process!

how the application process works:

  1. Submit an application - it doesn't mean you're getting on a plane tomorrow.

  2. Interview with Lattitude Staff - discuss your preferences, thoughts about volunteering, and goals for your time away. Highlight your strengths, let us know how you want to grow on your gap year. Tell us where you would like to go and when!

  3. Country & Program Matching - we introduce you to our country managers and see where you're a good fit. You'll interview with them over skype and they will tell you specific information about their programs. Learn about life overseas!

  4. Program Confirmation - when you've been matched to a program overseas we'll send you placement details and information.

  5. Preparation - You’ll work with one of our Coordinators in Australia to plan and prepare everything. We'll also send you briefing packs about your matched country and get you ready to go!

  6. In Person Briefing - In December, you'll attend a briefing event, meet your fellow volunteers, and complete online preparation modules.

  7. Get on that plane! - pack your bags and start your journey overseas!
